Weale Leaves Ashton Gate

Second-choice goalkeeper Chris Weale has left Ashton Gate on a Bosman free transfer to League 1 champions Leicester City.
Weale, who was loaned out to both Hereford and his former club Yeovil during this past season, was widely expected to leave in order to gain first-team football.

Tesco Keen To Purchase Ashton Gate

Supermarket giants Tesco are keen on purchasing the land which currently houses Bristol City’s Ashton Gate stadium, the local press has reported.
Tesco have officially confirmed their interest in buying the plot, with the estimated £20 million price tag a healthy contribution to the construction of City’s new stadium.
